Up at 6 something, tried to get some work done, but mom was busy hallucinating - not in a pink elephant for of way - but she was convinced that I had been out playing pool and that the roads were dangerous. When in fact I had been in bed asleep. As she probably had been as well. Sigh. And of course there is no convincing her that she was hallucinating (or dreaming even).
I did, eventually, get my work done. Later, I get to have a free lunch for running a slide show for Kelly. Huzzuh. Free lunch! Yum! And later later, I will be going in to help a second person learn to sell movie tickets the "new" way.
Theatre Manager continues to get deeper - turns out that we can use old laptops as scanning devices for tickets - by using a web interface. Who knew? Well, the people who work at Theatre Manager of course...So far, can't get the web interface to work, but I did scan some tickets and that is a good thing. I couldn't get out of the screen for some reason. Not sure what that was about.
Anyway, I am not amused. One of my projectionists wrote me at 4 in the afternoon saying that they couldn't project the movie and couldn't get anyone to cover it. So, here I sit, at the Smith, projecting a movie and I am not amused. At all.
All I had for dinner was an artichoke. Reminds me of when I lived in Paris and managed to live on a dollar a day for a couple of weeks. That was fun. Good times.
I do have more to say but I will save it for another day. Happy Dreams (busy two weeks coming up).
